Jim Malmstrom

I have been helping my clients address their financial concerns for more than four decades. With the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my career, I am qualified to guide clients through any type of market environment with comprehensive goal-based investment planning.

I am enthusiastic about understanding my clients’ goals and working to achieve those goals. I focus on developing customized investment plans to suit the specific needs of affluent pre-retirees and retirees.

I spent 15 years with Wells Fargo Advisors where I completed advanced education programs and earned the Fundamental Choice Portfolio Manager designation. Prior to Wells Fargo, I spent 25 years with UBS/Paine Webber.  I’ve also been named a New Jersey Five Star Wealth Manager for the sixth time in 2023.

Me and my wife Emy have spent our entire adult lives at the Jersey Shore.  I have enjoyed coaching youth basketball and soccer.  We have three adult children and five (!) grandchildren.

Brian Fitzgerald

Partner, Business Development & Operations Director

Brian Fitzgerald has more than three decades of experience within the financial services industry. His sales and management background has involved providing advice to a wide range of clients including; high-net worth investors, middle-market institutions, hedge fund clients and large mutual fund institutions.  His entrepreneurial spirit and tenure working with smaller-sell side firms has benefited the countless customers he has assisted with their investments. Brian excels at building businesses across many different sales platforms, as well as building sales and trading teams.  As a team-oriented sales manager who has developed teams as large as 400, his inclusive managerial style creates an environment that thrives on building a team-first culture. He looks forward to leveraging his experience by helping develop and grow new and existing relationships for BroadFront Capital Management.
